Quest for the Lost Sheep - awesome, but a bug or two

Hi there. I picked up the Quest for the Lost Sheep from IFDB a couple of hours ago, and have been enjoying it thoroughly. I even got around to putting a rather large map together (that took some time, the sheer amount of different places in the game is pretty impressive, albeit somewhat confusing). Now, however, I'm stuck, and I think it's because of a bug in the game. After having gotten the Large Goat over the bridge by scaring the troll, the other goats won't talk to me, and Large Goat appears to be on the others side of the bridge, debating with the troll that has clearly run away.

Is this a bug and, if so, is there a way to get around it?

Also, another thing. I got stuck earlier on, too, because I gave the Crooked Man the thing he needs before talking to him. He appreciated it when he got it, but afterwards things were back to unfriendly normal, and I had no way of getting the thing back. I restarted the game and praised myself lucky that I had made the map.

Aaaand, update to myself. It is possible to "win" the game despite of these bugs, if you're patient enough to play some of it through again if you were unlucky with the Crooked Man. And apparently you don't have to interact with the Goats after the bridge. But poor Large Goat, standing there talking to a troll that has been gone for hours. Some delusion...

The goat issue is only a textual bug - I forgot to change the description of the goat after it moves :) It doesn't affect the playability of the game at all.

I'm not all that sure about the crooked man bug - I can't seem to get it to happen here, and can't see anything that would cause it. Can you give me any more details about how the bug manifests itself?
