I've done some more site development, as a result some things have changed:-
Blogs
The blog system now shares 50% of its functionality with the forum posting mechanism, this will allow the all the posting/editing/deleting function to work using the same code with a few minor parameter twiddles.
I've added my own and sneeze's blogs to the main menu link. Blog posting is accessible under the User Profile link and needs the user's 'developer bit' set in order to appear.
Menus
Due to menu items now correctly allowing parameters the menu expansion mechanism has been changed. Pages may now request a specific parent menu be open when they are displayed, however it isn't working properly yet and is behaving half like the new system and half like the old system.
