25th Jan 2008 - 17:41Mistral v20080125by sneeze
Ok, I know it's only two days since the last one, but I'm away for a few days so it seemed worthwhile to get an update out, especially since there's a few unreliability issues in the last one.

Changes:
Added mines, geologists, ironworks and goldworks
Finished off english translation and changed it to default language
Added config file for language selection
Added some feedback as to where you can build a path next
Lengthened the double-click timeout.
Fixed a load of crashing bugs.

Downloads on the project page.

The day is finally here, and so you can now download a first version of mistral. I'm sure you're all very excited. Feel free to download it, and then comment or post on the forums to say how you find it, to tell me that I've been building it up too much, and to complain that it's boring and the graphics are bad.

27th Dec 2007 - 00:05New Buildsby sneeze
We've got new and improved builds of cumulus available for download for windows and linux. Hopefully this will fix some of the problems you've encountered lately, plus we've tweaked the gameplay a fair bit. So have a look at the projects page on the left, try it out, and tell us how you got on with it (and my best time is about 2:15...)
20th Dec 2007 - 15:08Cumulusby sneeze
Continuing with the weather theme, I've added some builds of a simple platform game with a grappling hook, codenamed cumulus. It's also a test app and concept game, so not much to shout about about on the whole graphics and content front, but it'd be nice to see if our software actually works on other peoples systems. So when you try it, post on the forum somewhere to say what happened, and if it works, tell us what you thought of it. All suggestions welcome! You can find links to download in the projects menu.
12th Dec 2007 - 09:21Drizzleby sneeze
Finally, I've got the windows build process mostly sorted, and our first test app, the fantastically named drizzle (which just about sums up the quality of it, but it is a test app really!), is available for download - see the projects page in the side menu. I'd appreciate it if anyone can download it and see if it works, and please post on the forum if you try it, even if it's just to say "Works for me!"
7th Dec 2007 - 11:35New Newsby sneeze
We have a new Cathelius site. This is of course the third attempt to post this news entry, which demonstrates how unfinished the whole thing is.

Forums should work for basic discussions, and we've got a test application for linux (but not windows yet, we're working on that), and there's more in the works.
